Program Description
The backbone of community support work. Students learn case management, community development, anti-oppressive practice, and counselling fundamentals. Two field placements (350 hours each) provide direct experience in shelters, food banks, mental health agencies, and community health centers. Graduates register with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW).
Admission Requirements
Grade 12 English (C or U); recommended related volunteer experience.
