Financial Aid
- OSAP: Most students qualify. We help you apply.
- Entrance Scholarship: $1,000 for 80%+ admission average.
- Emergency Bursaries: For unexpected crises. No repayment.
- Single Parent Support Grant: Non-repayable.
- Food Pantry: Free groceries. No forms.
Who Are You?
Recent High School Grad
You need an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, plus program-specific prerequisites. Apply through ontariocolleges.ca.
Mature Student (19+)
No OSSD? No problem. You may qualify as a mature applicant. We look at work experience, volunteer history, and Assessments for Success. Talk to us before you self-select out.
International Student
You need a credential equivalent to OSSD and proof of English proficiency. Some programs are not open to international students due to clinical placement limits. See our International Students page.
Second Career / Re-Training
If you are unemployed or underemployed, Ontario's Second Career program may cover your tuition. Our financial aid office helps with the paperwork.
University Transfer / Post-Grad
Many of our graduate certificates and fast-track diplomas are built for people who already have a degree and need practical skills.
After You Apply
- 1. Acknowledgment
We confirm receipt within 48 hours.
- 2. Offer
Sent through ontariocolleges.ca if you meet requirements.
- 3. Accept
Pay the $250 deposit to hold your seat.
- 4. Register
Choose your timetable on MyElmwood.
- 5. Post-Admission
Police checks, immunizations, equipment purchases.
- 6. Orientation
Welcome Week is practical, not ceremonial.
