Program Description
A rigorous, clinically intensive program that prepares graduates to write the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) licensure exam to become Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs). The curriculum integrates theory, lab simulation, and clinical placement in hospitals and long-term care. Because this is a compressed program, students should expect 30+ hours of study and placement per week.
Admission Requirements
Grade 12 English (C or U); Grade 11 or 12 Biology (C or U); Grade 11 Math (C, M, or U); Grade 11 or 12 Chemistry or Physics; CASPer test; highly competitive.
Career Outcomes
Registered practical nurse, long-term care nurse, clinic nurse, home care nurse, surgical floor nurse.
