Program Description

This program prepares educators for infant, toddler, and preschool settings. Graduates are eligible to register with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE). The curriculum emphasizes play-based learning, inclusive practice, and trauma-informed care. Students complete two field placements in licensed childcare centers and kindergarten classrooms.

Admission Requirements

Grade 12 English (C or U); recommended volunteer experience with children; vulnerable sector police check required after admission.

Career Outcomes

Registered early childhood educator, daycare teacher, preschool supervisor, home childcare provider, special needs support.
