International Student Orientation

Moving to a new country for college is a significant transition, and our International Student Orientation is designed to make it smoother. Over a full day, new international students learn about study permit requirements, health insurance coverage, banking and phone setup in Canada, and how to navigate Grey County. Sessions also cover academic expectations, plagiarism policies, campus safety, and available support services including counseling and English language tutoring. Lunch is provided, and current international students share their own experiences and tips for adjusting to life in rural Ontario. By the end of the day, you will have the contacts, information, and confidence to begin your studies successfully.
