Transfer Credit Workshop

If you have completed courses at another Ontario college or university, you may be closer to graduation than you think. The Transfer Credit Workshop explains how to have your previous learning assessed for credit toward an Elmwood diploma or advanced diploma. Advisors walk you through the application process, help you understand which courses are likely to transfer, and show you how to gather the required transcripts and course outlines. We also discuss Prior Learning Assessment and Recognition (PLAR) for work experience and non-formal training. Many students who attend this workshop discover they can skip an entire semester—or more—saving both time and tuition.
